Tamil Nadu: 6 killed in fire accident in a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar

A fire broke out today in a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, in which six people have been reported dead. The factory is located near Sivakasi. Confirming the incident, the Joint Director of Health Services, Virudhunagar said that six people have died in the accident. Firefighting operation is underway. On February 12, 23 people were killed in a fire accident in a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister had announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh respectively to the families of the deceased.
