The bonding medium is developed to counteract the high strength and the refractoriness of the materials to be drilled. Especially treated Diamond is used which has got the minimum chance to get fractured during the drilling operation. The shank portion of the said drills is manufactured from specially treated wear resistant steel. The tools are manufactured with diamond particles both in surface set and impregnated condition. For efficient removal of the slurry deep-rooted channels are cut on the shanks. The bonding medium is just suitable for optimum wearing of the wheel. The abrasive particles are natural diamond having sharp cutting edge. The dressing wheels can be used for dry and wet grinding. For dry grinding special element is added to the bonding medium for heat absorption.\r\n\r\nEDGE GRINDING WHEELS\r\n\r\nThis sort of peripheral wheel is used for smoothing the edges of cut surface of Hard Materials Stones and Glass. Different types of bond are used for the above-mentioned materials. The basic criterion of the bonding medium is such that it always exposes fresh diamond particles with minimum wearing of materials.
