Dawn Paul

Dawn Paul graduated as a textile designer in 2008 from the National Institute of Design Ahmedabad the premier design institute in India. Born in the beautiful Wayanad district of Kerala his penchant for nature reflected through his art. Having realized his passion for the world of design this young designer found in NID an opportunity to bring his dreams into reality. He was selected for a student exchange to Konstfack Stockholm a prestigious institute of arts crafts and design in Sweden.<br />He finds pleasure in applying his knowledge of textiles in a multidisciplinary context be it in making products or applying it in spaces. He completed his diploma project with BMW AG in Germany the highlight of the project being research and conceptualizing for the BMW car interiors for the future Indian market.<br />Dawn enjoys conceptualization for feasible concepts that focuses on detail functionality aesthetics and production-friendliness. He is constantly in search of a creative and rewarding environment that will challenge his strong work ethic and provide the opportunity to expand his abilities experiences and skills.
