Aseema is a non-governmental organization registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act whose mandate is to protect and promote human rights of underprivileged children and women. It was established in 1995 and is located in Bandra Mumbai. Aseema draws inspiration from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) which recognizes the right of every child to education. Aseema focuses on providing quality and relevant education and inculcating in underprivileged children a desire to learn and to continue and complete their studies in an educational institution. Through our products division we intend to emerge as a self sustainable organization in terms of our financial needs. Our products are made from the artwork of the children at Aseema.
