Vboard is a non-asbestos product in par with the standards of the International fiber cement sheets.\r\n\r\nVisaka started manufacturing Vboard since march 2009 with HPSC technology conforming to IS 14862-2000. The production facility is in Miryalaguda in Andhra Pradesh.\r\n\r\nVboard is resistant to Fire Water & Termite. Vboards are manufactured from special grade cellulose fiber and inorganic binders of silica base. The matrix made to the required thickness is cured at high temperature and high pressure in autoclaves to attain crystalline structure which imparts dimensional stability to the Vborad. The cement component makes it durable & the cellulose component makes it more workable.\r\n\r\nThermal conductivity of Vboard is lower than any other substitute of its nature. This property makes Vboard a good insulator also. Hence Vboards are used as an energy saving aid to maintain the temperature in closed air-conditioned rooms.
